B2B Wholesale Portal

You already sell to consumers. Now designers, retailers and trade buyers want accounts, their own prices and net terms — and today that runs through email and spreadsheets. We make your retail Shopify store a wholesale store too: native Shopify B2B where it covers the job, and a custom app for the parts it doesn't.

What's included

  • Wholesale application and approval — buyers apply, you approve, their account opens on the right tier
  • Pricing tiers per company (Silver, Gold, Distributor — your names) plus volume breaks by quantity
  • Limited catalogs: each buyer sees only the products and collections you allow
  • Payment terms (Net 15/30/60), order minimums and quantity rules
  • Claims handling: buyers report damaged, missing or wrong items with photos; you approve and issue credits from one queue
  • Quick order and one-click reorder for trade buyers who know their SKUs

Good fit if

you sell direct-to-consumer on Shopify, wholesale buyers keep asking for trade pricing, terms or a login, and you don't want a second store to run it.

How it starts

With a 30-minute scoping call about your trade buyers, how you price them today, and what goes wrong. You get a written proposal with fixed scope and price — native and custom marked line by line — before anything is built.

One store, two kinds of customer

Most brands start wholesale with a second Shopify store, or a PDF line sheet and an inbox. Both double the work: two catalogs, two inventories, orders retyped by hand. Shopify's native B2B lets one store serve retail shoppers and trade buyers side by side — same products, same inventory, different prices and rules per company. We set that up properly, then build what it doesn't cover into a custom app made for your store.

Which native B2B features you get depends on your Shopify plan. We confirm what your plan includes before quoting, and the proposal marks every line native or custom — you never pay us to rebuild something Shopify already does.

How a build runs

  1. Scoping call: who your trade buyers are, how you price them today, and where it goes wrong — claims, minimums, terms.
  2. Written proposal with fixed scope and price, native and custom spelled out line by line.
  3. Build alongside your live retail store: B2B configured, the custom app installed on your store only.
  4. Pilot with two or three real buyers and fix what they trip on.
  5. Launch to your full wholesale list, with a handover so your team can approve buyers and handle claims.
From $5,000 for a core portal: application and approval, tiered pricing, limited catalogs, payment terms, and claims handling. Large tier structures, ERP or accounting integrations, and sales-rep ordering are quoted on top.

Common questions about this service

Do we need a separate wholesale store?

No — that's the point. Native Shopify B2B runs on your existing store: same products and inventory, with trade buyers seeing their own prices, catalog and terms once they log in. Retail shoppers never see any of it.

Do we need Shopify Plus?

It depends on the features you need, and Shopify's plan rules change. We check what your current plan includes during scoping and tell you plainly whether an upgrade is needed — and what it would unlock — before you commit to anything.

How does claims handling work?

Buyers report a damaged, missing or wrong item from their account, picking the order line and adding photos. It lands in one queue for your team to approve, reject, or ask for more; approved claims become a credit or a replacement. Every claim keeps its history, so disputes stop living in email threads.

Is the custom app shared with other stores?

No. It's built for and installed on your store only — not a public app. Hosting and support after launch are optional and quoted with the build.
